Preparing for the Kingdom of God Ministry

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world" (Matthew 25:34).

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4 NKJV).


In 2012, I received an email from a brother in the Lord who complained about the tone of our message. He suggested that we should stop concentrating on the Lord's rebukes but share His love. By so saying, he was actually telling us to disobey the Lord who send us to share for other's benefit His rebukes (Lamentations 2:14). In his address, He elevated some attributes of God’s holiness but he totally ignored God's Righteousness and Judgements.



Being righteous, God executes judgement to reveal His truth and our rebelliousness (Romans 2:2-11). Brethren, we will not adjust or dilute the message that the Lord has entrusted to us in order to win approval from man. This is the same sin for which false prophets were condemned in the Old Testament (Isaiah 30:8-11; Jeremiah 5:31; 23:16-17, 21-22). In contrast, as truthful messengers of God who have been entrusted with a message to you, we proclaim what needs to be said, whether or not it is what people want to hear (Jeremiah 1:17; Micah 3:8; Mark 12:14; 2 Timothy 4:2). At all times our concern is to gain God’s approval in your growth and correction, than to win people’s praise (2 Timothy 2:15; John 12:43). We therefore declare from this ministry that we dispense truth, correction and submit to the Lord in humble obedience. The message we have been given comes directly through the Lord himself with mighty evidence and live visions exposing the wrongs of individuals; thus the Lord works through this ministry to teach you correction.


Now in our understanding, faith as a seed is active obedience which is rooted in the spirit of LOVE! This website is dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ and to encourage the individual members of the body of Christ to witness to their own family members, neighbours, colleagues and all other people you come into contact with. Pray many times daily and read your Bible daily in obedience to the Lord; this is the OIL needed to stay alert for the Lord’s soon coming!

What We Believe

Preparing for the Kingdom of God Ministry is a non-denominational ministry that focuses on the witnessing of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all people everywhere as a principle and in obedience to the Lord’s command (Matthew 28:19-20). As a ministry, our lives and convictions are based on the teachings of the Holy Bible. We solemnly embrace all Biblical teachings without any reservations. Our faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work through Calvary’s cross (1 Peter 2:24-25). To us “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him” (Colossians 1:15-16 NIV). While we wait for the soon coming of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we keep watch in prayer (Luke 21:36) together breaking bread in fellowship (Acts 2:46) and keeping busy in the harvest field (Luke 12:35-40).

We believe the teachings of the Bible are sufficient for holy living, for training in righteousness, for correction and rebuking (2 Timothy 3:16). As a fact, we believe in the baptism by water and by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11; Mathew 1:8; Acts 1:8).We also believe in all the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, 27-31 and Galatians 5:22. We consider ourselves as members of the invisible church of our Lord Jesus Christ and we believe the gifts are for the common good of the body (1 Corinthians 14:26b). Furthermore, we have a firm hope in the Rapture of all the faithful believers and the resurrection of the saints and the condemned (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:12).

Brief Testimony about this Ministry

This ministry was started by Brother Glenn van Rooyen, his wife Desiree, and their then eight year old daughter, Charis. This was initially meant as a normal family fellowship group to encourage family unity, praying together every night and to encourage one another from the Word of God. By consistently meeting at the same time almost every night as a family, it helped us breaking free from the habit of watching television. After having been unemployed for more than a year, we trusted the Lord to bless me with a job. Now, this practice went on for about two (2) years until the Lord Jesus Christ surprisingly visited my daughter, Charis, on the 25th of January, 2010, saying: I love My children. My daughter Charis, I am your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I am going to appear to you and show you visions and you must tell your father." We did not expect this grace from the Lord. Our expectation was that He would answer our prayer for me to get a job. Since that time, the Lord Jesus Christ visited Charis every night faithfully for well over 4 years. We have chronicled quite elaborately in our book,  Preparing for the Kingdom of God: True Divine Encounters and Teachings from the Lord Jesus Christ – Book 1 and elsewhere on our website how this ministry started. During this time, the Lord Jesus Christ gave life changing messages to members of this ministry and the larger brotherhood around the world. As it is, He is continuing to lead this ministry by the power of the Holy Spirit through His Word, visions and messages.

Additionally, you would notice on our weblog that we have visions from many members of this family including some brethren who are directly involved in this ministry. Therefore, the visions from me and others are judged based on its relevance to the Bible (Acts 17:11). We exercise faith and prayer before deciding to share visions from all our contributors.

However, in exceptional situations, and based on the content of a vision, we would ask the Lord directly if we should share it and He has never failed to answer us either through a follow-up vision or a message through Charis. I need also mention that the Lord encouraged me to exercise my faith when judging dreams and visions that are from Him. He said the content of some visions would always lead us to the Bible and some visions are given in answer to our prayers. Brethren, we do pray almost daily that the Lord reveal certain truths to us.

Upon the Lord’s guidance and command, He directed us to share our testimony with the world to encourage members of the Body and to warn the unsaved that His word and judgements are true.

Therefore, through their faith, discernment and obedience to the Lord, a faithful brother and his precious wife provided this ministry with a global platform via this website as a channel to reach you our brothers and sisters His Word and our testimony.

Our Articles and the Messages We Share

Our weekly articles are being published every Monday on our blog and are based on the Bible truth and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. These inspiring articles are either direct messages from the Lord or by guidance from the Holy Spirit. In addition to the articles, we also share Biblically sound dreams and visions as the Lord Jesus Christ provides. To convey the practical nature of our testimony and experiences with the Lord, we emphasize some very important and foundational Biblical teachings which we noticed are either wrongly applied or ignored by some Christians. By this, we do not claim to know and understand it all. In our articles, we rather confine ourselves to the teachings the Lord gives and then we write articles about these. As is evident from our weekly articles, our work takes a systematic approach, which runs through the entire Bible in a contextually relevant approach. Our aim is not to devalue any Old Testament teachings that has found new application in the New Testament. Rather we reconcile these truths based on our collective convictions and the guidance of the Lord and the Holy Spirit.

As a result, the testimony we profess is not intended to promote us or our ministry, but to bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is appealing through us to the individual members of His body and to the unsaved to live Biblical lives and to obey Him. Furthermore, in our articles, we show through examples of our Lord’s dealings with us and how we have to endure the ‘fiery’ rebukes from Him. This we do, not just to expose our many weaknesses, but to draw your attention to the Lord’s Holiness, His discipline and His patience. We do so to warn the casual and lukewarm Christian who despises His grace. It is worth mentioning, often as people we are selective in our understanding of God. We wisely choose to accept His love only, but we despise His teachings on godly discipline. Let us not disobey the Lord and hide behind excuses for the Lord knows when we are able to resist wrong doing. When we do wrong He accredits it as willful sin and disobedience, and there will be consequences (Hebrews 10:26). Through His many messages to us and to members of our fellowship group, the Lord warned about excuses and some brethren were punished for willful sins and disobedience.

To mention but a few examples of punishments the Lord meted out. Some were punished to read the Bible for six hours a day, while others were to pray for five hours a day. Some were told to wake up 01:00 a.m. and pray for an hour and go to bed for an hour and get up after that hour of resting to pray for another hour plus two full hours of Bible reading. This is a great feast of prayer and Bible reading in the Presence of the Lord. This may have been an inconvenience, but it is much better than some sickness, plague, financial loss resulting in poverty, or HELL (Leviticus 26:16; Proverbs 29:1). This is for your encouragement!

In conclusion, when the Lord speaks to us, He speaks to you as well and expects of you to obey when you know the word spoken appeals to you also. As a believer, you must respond by faith to teachings of correction, for it is meant to build you up, and to encourage you in truth. The Bible says: “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into PRACTICE” with a promise “and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8-9).

I just received a message from the Lord, and I heard Him say in an Urgent Voice Tone, "STOP SINNING I AM COMING SOON"!

You can be sure that none of the prophetic words the Lord has given us has failed to prove faithful we urge you all to take warning so that you can save yourself and others.
