Persecutions I

Foreword: The Lord commanded us to share the message of persecution with you this week. This was an article that was first written last year. We have made some slight adjustments with some Scriptural evidence. We are also adding that the Lord Jesus Christ says Christians who are persecuting their own brothers through slander, gossiping through social media/networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), hatred, and backbiting do not belong to Him and that His love is not abiding in that person. The Lord also commanded us (Christians) to love and pray for one another (John 15:9; Romans 12:9-21; Ephesians 6:18). Furthermore, the Lord also said those who suffer persecution as a result of His message of correction to His Body will not fail to receive their reward.

Truthful Conduct Results in Persecution

“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12 NIV). Please note: ‘godly’, as used above, means to be like God. God has opposition (Colossians 1:21). This verse declares that we become God’s enemies through sin. We choose to become enemies through our sinful conduct (Romans 5:10). God has extended the olive branch of peace through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ (1 John 4:10).

So then, what is persecution? Biblically, persecution is opposition to Godly conduct in exchange for ungodly behaviour. For example Cain, like many of us, allowed sin to dominate him, and he murdered his righteous brother, Abel. If we are ruled by sin we despise truth and oppose those whose conduct is more righteous than ours (Genesis 4:6-10). Throughout the Bible, persecution originated from those who opposed correction and truth from God (Jeremiah 28:8-17). The Lord Himself was persecuted and killed (see Gospels). Persecution is even practiced in our homes (Genesis 4; Matthew 10:36; Genesis 37). The Lord is encouraging you: don’t lose your faith if you are being persecuted, but endure, endure and discern truth. Truth is discerned when love is sincere and when we are directed to dependence and faithfulness to Christ.

Why are We Being Persecuted?

During the last two weeks, we have received opposition and persecution from both Christians and the unsaved for being obedient to the Lord and sharing the truth on certain teachings and practices that point people to the testimonies of people, above what the Bible teaches (Refer to False Witness article and the Follow-up article). In Jesus name, brethren, you are our witnesses: we do not use our testimony, which is truthful, to lead you to follow us, but we point and direct all men to Christ Jesus and what the Word of God teaches. Through the revelations we received, we add no new things but we re-affirm Scripturally the proper application in context of what the Scriptures say. This we align with experiences we have with the Lord. This article is not a defence to the many lies against our ministry, but saying the Lord is not speaking to us is accusing us of bearing false testimony just like the others we reported. Christians who are not reading the Bible for themselves are challenged to read and compare everything we teach, preach, encourage and share through our visions. Verify for yourselves if what we say is from the Lord for your correction, or if what we say leads you away from the Lord. Don’t just believe any accusation and start persecuting. Test the evidence through the things we presented and see if it agrees with Scripture.

The Lord showed us in a vision how Satan would oppose and influence many people against this ministry, but the Lord showed us how we resisted him and he fled, which led many brethren to the truth. In our current distress we rejoice knowing our conscience is clean before the Lord and we pray that we (including you) be prepared to meet the Lord at His coming.

We are being persecuted because we oppose ungodly conduct and we refuse to conform to wrong behaviour and teachings (Matthew 5:10). The persecutors or bullies are motivated by various intentions. Cain and Joseph’s brothers were motivated by jealousy, (see Genesis 4; 37). Others persecute us because of their love for money (Acts 19:23-25). Still others persecute us because our message exposes their sinful and wrong teachings (Acts 19:23-31; Matthew 10:11-34). Remember, persecution is an unjust application of punishment on those who uphold truthful and proper conduct in obedience to Christ Jesus. People persecute because of guilt, hatred and because of their unjust and ungodly practices.

As the Lord said, “all men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved” (Matthew 10:22 NIV). We are hated and persecuted because of our association with Jesus Christ and our testimony. Our testimony confirms the truth He delivered to us. This is not to be confused with tests and temptations. As Christians, we are also being persecuted because we proclaim a strong message against wrong beliefs and sinful conduct (John 14: 6; John 3:18-21). Our message appeals to those who love truth and those who choose not to live for themselves. Our message also says “I have come to do your will O’ God” (Hebrews 10:7b NIV). We are ready to endure this cup of unpleasantness, for therein is eternal life found. The Christian is called to persecutions and hardship in this world (2 Timothy 2:3; 1 Peter 4:1-2). We are CALLED TO BE humble in attitude and submissive in service to God and humanity. Oneness with Christ through the Holy Spirit cancels out any appetite for sinful behaviour (1 John 3:9).

Persecutions are Not Temptations

As you may recall, the Lord Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1-11). This temptation that the Lord endured was aimed to causing Him to disobey God. Praise and glory unto God the Father, our Lord held on faithfully and our salvation was preserved. Satan’s motive is to encourage rebelliousness against God. He succeeded in this when he caused Adam and Eve to disobey God (Genesis 3). When we are being tempted, we are given the opportunity to choose whom we want to obey and our choices carry consequences.

From our Lord’s experiences above, temptations are brought about in circumstances of need or desire. The Lord was fasting and hungry, so the need for food was there (Matthew 4:1-3). Likewise, no temptation comes about if there is no need or desire. King David was tempted to commit adultery and murder because “he saw a woman bathing” (2 Samuel 11:2b). The lustful ‘desire’ was activated after he saw her bathing. Like our Lord, David could have resisted, but he chose to yield to this tempting situation. This resulted in severe judgment for him (see 2 Samuel 12). Also, Eve was tempted to eat the fruit from the forbidden tree because she “saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it ...” (Genesis 3:6 NIV). Therefore, temptation is a need-driven or desire-driven entity that Satan uses as bait. He creates the evil desire so that we have a need for it (James 1:13-15). Being desire-minded, we always sacrifice obedience towards God above our natural needs. We have a continuous appetite for more even if it is forbidden (Genesis 3). Yielding to temptation is obedience to the desires of flesh, and therefore disobedience to God.

On the other hand, obedience and humble submission to God is the key to overcoming temptations. “And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV). Many of us quote this scripture and often out of context; this scripture expresses God’s faithfulness in giving us strength when we have become weak. In other words, with the temptation comes a solution. Again, do we have faith and discernment to recognize God’s help during this time of testing? Well, the outcome would be determined if we obey to receive help as the Scripture says or if we succumb to the craving of the flesh. As it is, Satan provides the temptation and it would always be things we need or desire. We in return must decide, like our Lord did, if we would obey or succumb to gratify that specific desire. Yielding to the craving does not only bring about the pleasure we would enjoy, but the price for disobedience brings about three changes; punishment, guilt (that deprives us peace) and that demonic spirit or craving (1 Samuel 16: 14-15; Genesis3; 2 Samuel 11; 12).

I would like to explain it this way; prior to my conversion, I smoked and drank for many years and so I know the taste of these habits. Therefore, the craving for these things always hounds me. I am delivered from these habits, but the flesh responds to the cravings if it is a desire. I may not indulge, but the craving must be overcome with obedience and the attitude of a new mind (Romans 6:11-13). Too often Christianity has been offered as “God does it all for you” while we must do nothing. As far as our salvation, God has done it all for us. But as for our deliverance, we must maintain it through our faith and obedience. When I first came to the Lord, I was trapped in habits and I thought after someone prayed for me all my habits and problems would just disappear. Often the way we present the Christian message to people makes it appear as if we’re offering a magic wand solution. Soon after our presentation, some people would repent and follow but not long thereafter they backslide because their expectation of instant deliverance without faith did not take root. God requires us to participate in our salvation through faith and obedience (Colossians 2: 6-7). As Paul writes, we must “continue to work out [our] salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12 NIV).

This then is my reasonable service to the Lord: offering my body as a living sacrifice in obedience (Romans 12: 1). No one can truly claim that they are completely free from some cravings (Romans 7:15-25). As long as we are in the body, its passions will hound us (Galatians 5:16-21). We are free through Christ as far as our choice of obedience to Him. So, freedom from sin in the body is attained when we die (Romans 7). Not that sin rules us but its desires intend to lead us into temptation and ultimately death (Galatians 5: 16; Romans 6:23). When you are born again, you live a life of choice and obedience daily (Read Colossians 3; Ephesians 4:17-28); meaning, we consciously and by faith choose to ‘crucify the body’ or put it to death to sinful cravings (Colossians 3: 5-6). In conclusion to this discussion, indulgence in something forbidden; it does not only bring the pleasure but also brings that demonic spirit, which brings us into conflict with it. If we have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, He forgives us and we must fight these cravings and evil desires with the spiritual weapons of faith, obedience and choice. In addition, choice is the principle we apply after we make our decision to follow the Lord. This choice becomes faith because we choose to live by it (Habakkuk 2:4). As people, we are inherently evil, as King David wrote, “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5). This conscious state is not taught but it is a spontaneous behaviour. This cycle of evil is suppressed by the indwelling Holy Spirit whom we must obey through His convictions to help us fight (through our knowledge of the Word of Truth) and overcome this evil (Galatians 5:16-17; Romans 7:14-25). Therefore, obedience and humble submission to God through faith equals deliverance and a future hope of eternal life.

The Lord’s Forgiveness and Compassion

Beloved brethren, the Lord is all the time aware of our struggles; that is why the Scripture says, “He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV). Before I share some experiences of temptations and persecutions that some of us in this ministry have had, it would be most appropriate to share this Scripture: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are- yet without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:15-16).

Every mature member of the Body of Christ knows that sin is undefeated in our flesh. The flesh craves wrong things, but our Victory is in Christ Jesus. He alone holds Victory over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:54-57). Our acceptance of His redemptive work by faith gives us that sinless appearance (Colossians 3:1-4; Ephesians 2: 8-9). I reiterate, our state in the flesh has not changed, but spiritually and by faith it has changed. This change is fixed by God. What I mean is this: we are saved by faith and not by works as the above scripture declares. We were saved even before we started working; this was achieved by our faith in the redemptive work of Christ. However, we are called to obey and “You were taught with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22-24). This categorically states that we must BE. The verse that says we are saved by grace has nothing to do with our faith obligation of obedience, especially now that we have “put off our old self”. The putting on of the “new self” is a changed course; a changed course “to be made new in the attitude of your minds” leads us to “BE like God in true righteousness and holiness”. When we have accepted this, our faith would stand on the working out of His grace in us and our obedience expresses our love for Him (John 14:23).

Finally, many of us in this ministry have committed some mistakes in the past as everybody has. The Lord, as I alluded in our previous articles, rebuked us (Psalm 3:11-12), and his rebukes led us to repentance (Romans 2:4). If we continuously commit the same mistake, He becomes angry and issues another warning, this time more serious. If it is serious then we have grossly disobeyed. The Lord is slow to anger and He always delays punishment in exchange for repentance and self-restraint (Psalm 145:8; Psalm 51).

Testimonies of Persecution

Here are examples of persecutions we endured. As we mentioned previously, for it to be a persecution, it must involve the GOSPEL. It must challenge wrong behaviour and wrong beliefs (Acts 21:27-40). Now, just because we hear from the Lord Jesus Christ does not mean we are free or immune against persecutions. In fact, this has attracted a lot of opposition. We lost very close friends; not that I lament that – they just could not be around us to endure the truth. When I first told some people that the Lord was speaking to our daughter, Charis, they did not believe I was speaking the truth. The Apostle Paul’s testimony of his conversion and the fact that he saw the Lord was also not well received and believed by his Jewish persecutors (Acts 22). How could we ever go out and tell people lies about something so incredible. I was branded as being “mad” and “crazy”. Would I go out of my way to bring so much trouble on myself for nothing? Of course not! I went out in excitement and obedience to the believers first, based on the Lord’s command to us. He said that we may tell some people what He was telling us. I never anticipated this command to drive people away from us. I am not trying to portray this as a loss; this has opened our eyes to see that many people did not have faith and that their walk with God was superficial and unsteady (Matthew 7:24-27).

We have had one woman, whose sister the Lord has called to this ministry. This sister used to attend worldly drinking parties even as a born-again believer. Although she herself would not partake in the drinking, but the Word says we are equally guilty if we condone the wrong conduct of others and do not rebuke them (Luke 17:3; James 5:19). The Lord started dealing with her through the messages she received and she stopped associating with them. For this, she was persecuted by her mother, her sister, her husband and other family members. This precious sister was radically transformed by Christ Jesus and all they could do to her was just yelling, screaming, accusing and cursing, but her faith and obedience to the Lord, that they could not take from her. Glory to God! This woman’s sister threatened to come and burn up our house, because we had “brainwashed” her sister. Her sister wailed because of her changed attitude and said: “I want my sister back!” By God’s grace, she will NEVER return and no one would be able to rob her from the Love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39). When she was persecuted, this sister panicked but the Lord comforted her. Persecution has not been taken out of the way; we must endure it and overcome it to prove our love and faithfulness to the Lord.

Also, when Charis and her two witnesses went witnessing on the Lord’s command, they were pelted with stones and mocked by children in their age category. Remember, the Lord commanded us not to accompany the children when they go out witnessing. He promised to protect them (See our article on Raising Godly Children). On another witnessing occasion, Charis and one of the girls were spanked with a belt by a security guard. That evening the Lord came saying they must forgive that man.

Furthermore, some of the women in our ministry have and are still enduring every kind of abuse from their husbands for their obedience and submission to the Lord. They have made their choice: to them the Lord comes first.

As a ministry, we have endured a great deal of slander, gossip and threats. I have no time to chronicle in detail every kind of persecution we have faced and endured, but it was not easy. To keep our faith, ministry and salvation alive, we share our testimony with you to encourage you to also endure in faith and obedience.

The Lord has not changed since the New Testament times when Paul was persecuted and the Lord said: “Do not be afraid, Paul” (Acts 27:24). This was his encouragement during his hour of trials. We were also shown the same kindness by the Lord. He saw our hardship, but He would not have us pity ourselves and for that we would get rebuked. In our most trying circumstances, the Lord would comfort us by recognizing our faith and obedience with a promise of blessings. Days after these words of comfort, peace was given from every side. This made us forget almost everything we endured. I was in the midst of a very disturbing test so I enquired from the Lord, and He said through Charis: I will never leave your father and I will never forsake your father(Hebrews 13:5). This reassurance was all I needed: words of great comfort and peace.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, are you being persecuted for standing up for God's Truth, or are you afraid of being persecuted? If so, fear not! Take courage and comfort in the promise and knowledge that The Lord loves you always, His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9), and as Paul exhorts us in Romans 8:35-39:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you are not a born-again believer in Jesus Christ or would like to rededicate your life to The Lord Jesus, here is a Prayer of Sincere Repentance. For any questions or comments on this article or our ministry, please contact us.

The Holy Spirit

Brief Explanation to Last Week’s Article

Brethren, we are being persecuted not because of what we share with you; we are being persecuted for speaking out against false teachings. Every teaching must be measured against the Word of God (Isaiah 8:20). In careful examination of the strange teachings by Pastor Christine and Pastor Kim, they even went on “Heavenly” visits with departed saints “imparting Wisdom and fire” in them. Does the Bible not warn us against receiving oracles from the departed spirits? (Deuteronomy 18:10-11). The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is declared in power by the Holy Spirit and He imparts gifts as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11). In their teaching, King Solomon and Elijah have imparted fire and wisdom respectively; does this not contradict Scripture? (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6; Isaiah 38:18-19).

The Bible says, we must pray to God and He gives generously gifts we need to do His will(James 1:17). If gifts are from God, why do we need gifts from the departed saints? And why does Pastor Kim and Sister Christine have the power to “impart” gifts? According to the Bible, it is the Lord Jesus Christ who baptizes us in the Holy Spirit (Luke 3:16; Luke 24:49) and the Holy Spirit give the gifts as He chooses (1 Corinthians 12:11). We cannot command the Holy Spirit or the Lord Jesus Christ, nor Angels; we have been given authority only over Satan and his demonic host (Luke 10:19). Angels are God’s messengers and they are sent by God alone(Hebrews1:14). Note the term ‘sent’; are they sent by us or God? Furthermore, for your edification, we have not and will not allow any gift from any one, whether materially or otherwise, to influence the message the Lord entrusted us to share with you (Galatians 2:5-6).In summary, last week’s article (and subsequent Follow-upto Sister Christine’s response) was not to create division, but to expose falsehood and lies. The Lord commanded us to Judge error and expose false teachers (Matthew 23:23-34; John 7:24). We simply judge the truth from error, and we do so in submission to the Lord Jesus Christ and our love for the brotherhood. We owe truth and that truth is accentuated by the mighty conviction of the Holy Spirit.

The Work of The Holy Spirit

The greatest gift a believer receives after accepting Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour is the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul call it God’s down payment that we are His (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). In the Old Testament leaders, judges, kings and priests were anointed with the Holy Spirit to be able to do God’s work (Acts 10:38; Judges 13:24-25; 1 Samuel 10:1,11; 16:12-13). This is what sets the believer and Christianity apart from unbelievers and other religions. We receive the Holy Spirit to enter God’s service (Acts 1:8). Our service is to witness, bear fruit and to worship God (John 4:24; John 15:4).

Also, when Moses was called and sent to Pharaoh, God gave him His words and with gifts of the Holy Spirit (Exodus 4:1-12). These gifts represented God’s power and authority as this Scripture declares. Furthermore, it was evident from the ministries of our Lord Jesus Christ, King David, King Saul, Moses, Samuel and others that they carried God’s authority, His Holy Spirit. Please examine above scriptures. The Power and authority from their ministry was directly from God the Father and all they did represented His will. This gave and added authority to the things they did and said in the name of God Almighty (Exodus 8:19).

Comparatively, the disciples did not go out immediately after our Lord’s ascension to Heaven. They waited on the Lord in prayer for the promise to receive preaching power and authority from God (Acts 1:8; 2:1-4). Shortly after this Pentecost experience, the disciples received words of testimony, various gifts and a conviction from the Holy Spirit to witness about Christ Jesus being God’s Messiah and the Saviour of the world (Acts 2:32-34). The Holy Spirit Himself testified that Christ was from God, because He allowed the disciples to perform God’s work in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 3:6-10). These works testified to God’s Power, just like the signs God gave Moses (Acts 3:12-16). The teaching about the Holy Spirit is the most important, yet mostly ignored by some Churches and individuals. The revelation about God and Christ comes by the Holy Spirit.

The Person of The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was first formally introduced to us through the testimony of John the Baptist (John 1:32-34). Our Lord Jesus Christ was revealed to the world through the ascending Holy Spirit on Him. While the Holy Spirit was involved in the work of creation, His identity remained a mystery until our Heavenly Father revealed the Holy Spirit and Christ to the world. The Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit were simultaneously introduced to the world through John the Baptist as per above Scripture. As it is, the Holy Spirit set Christ, His Work and Message apart from all other prophets and messengers of God (Luke 4:18-19). If our Lord Jesus Christ was identified by the work of the Holy Spirit, shouldn’t we as believers, not be identified likewise?

While a great deal has been written on the person of the Holy Spirit, we will be brief on this but we would like to add our testimony that the Holy Spirit is God and equal to the Father and the Son, yet distinct from them (Matthew 28:19; John 14:15-17; Acts 5:3-4). The Bible describes the Holy Spirit in personal terms as having feelings, knowledge and desires (Ephesians 4:30; 1 Corinthians 2:11,13; Romans 8:27). In addition, the Holy Spirit is identified in Christ and Christ is identified in a believer through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9).

The Life and Conduct of a Spirit-filled Christian

As believers, there is a constant conflict in our lives, because our sinful nature fights against the Spirit of God (Romans 8:5-7; Galatians 5:17). Because of our union with Christ, the Spirit has given us life and freedom – not a freedom to do as we please, but a freedom from the bondage that the law brings (Romans 7:6; Galatians 5:1). As it is, through the Spirit we now have the power and freedom to live Christ-like. This change, in our behaviour, does not happen automatically, but as a result of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. This is not a mechanical process; we must exercise self-discipline and effort (Romans 12:9-13; 1 Corinthians 9:27). If we allow the Holy Spirit to take control and direct our lives, the result will be a quality of character that is like Christ Himself (Romans 14:17; 2 Corinthians 3:18). Knowing that, a Christ-like attitude is what the Bible calls the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Like the Lord’s disciples after the Pentecost experience, the production of spiritual fruit and power was evident in them (1 Corinthians 1:7; 3:1-4). It is not only the gifts of the Holy Spirit that testify about Christ, but fruit is evidence of Christ’s indwelling.

We must therefore remember that obedience and faith are necessary for enjoying the Spirit’s power after receiving the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:32; Galatians 3:2). The Holy Spirit will convicts us if we are confronted by a sinful situation and we are faced with a choice to obey or disobey the conviction we receive (Ephesians 4:29-32; Acts 5:9).

In conclusion, we know that the Holy Spirit in our lives precedes any law or rule (Galatians 5:18). Like I explained elsewhere, in the beginning of our Lord’s visits to us, He prepared us for service so He gave us gifts and encouraged us like Paul did to young Timothy to use the gifts (1 Timothy 4:14). The Lord taught us that our testimony would not be accepted if we do not show some of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We were encouraged to build our lives daily around the fruits of the Spirit. I recall an incident I had with someone I witnessed to a few years ago, I became very angry and answered an unbeliever back for hurling insults at me. I felt convicted immediately when the person turned back and told me that if that is how Christians are then he didn’t want to be one. I felt ashamed of my actions and I cried many days to the Lord to remove the guilt I had and to help me not to react to people’s insults. The fruit was lacking in me. I was told by the Lord that the work of ministry is not just the ministry of the word, but we must be what we preach and the Father delights in those fruits. We have many Christians today who cannot be differentiated from the unbelievers; they have the knowledge of God but show none of God’s character.

I was once confronted by another situation at one of my previous places of employment. I considered this as a test. The Company’s stock/inventory was missing through theft and I was the only one who did not steal. Everybody knew I was a born-again believer and the warehouse manager approached me and asked if I knew who was stealing stock or merchandise. I hesitated to answer at first but I summoned courage in the Lord so I spoke up and spoke the truth. This obviously landed me in big trouble with everybody. I was confronted by my colleagues and promised a beating. That was a very humiliating experience for me. I was called names in public and in full view of everyone present. I felt like fighting my accusers physically. I kept quiet and I went back to my work station and cried out to the Lord in a broken spirit to please help me and protect me against this abuse. My managers and everyone cared little about me. I even thought of resigning from my work as a result of the pressure and the promise of me being beaten every day. I covered myself with prayer before leaving home for work and the Lord in His faithfulness protected me from them. I heard their insults, but I still held my peace. A few weeks later, the Lord turned that situation in His favour. They discussed about churches and the messages, and almost in one voice they praised the God I served by pointing to the fruit of the Holy Spirit in my life. These men knew me before my conversion that I was drinking alcohol with them, smoking and was formerly a gangster.

Finally, prayer and Bible reading are food for the Spirit and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit in us as believers shows Christ to the world and these fruits attract man to His message, while the gifts are displaying God’s power. Moses was mighty in the power of the gifts, but he was considered to be the humblest man in the world; and so was our Lord known (Deuteronomy 34:10-12;Philippians 2:5-11). Let us therefore not just be powerful in speech, but in our inner attitude as well. The Lord loves truthful and obedient children. Let us desire the Holy Spirit in our lives not just for the sake of the gifts, but to BE in ministry to others.

Peace to you through the Holy Spirit,
Brother Glenn.

Follow-up to “False Witness” Article

The Lord has strongly impressed me to share this with you, as a follow-up to the False Witness article. I'm usually not keen on posting things publicly. I'm not here to defend any man or woman, but simply to share what the Lord has put in my heart regarding this matter. It is not my intention to disparage or slander anyone; rather I'm sharing this as a warning to those of you who are passionately following and defending man, and encourage those who truly desire to obey and trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone - He alone is to be magnified and glorified: "Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, "The Lord be magnified!" (Psalm 40:16; 70:4). He alone is worthy to be praised, so we may be saved from our [Enemy] (2 Samuel 22:4; Psalm 18:3) for "He has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree" (Galatians 3:13), for "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:3).

It is also important to mention upfront that "..GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS, but in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him” (Acts 10:34-35). I do respect both Pastor Kim and Pastor Christine, and I don’t have any personal issues with them.

First, I must admit that I was inadvertently the one used by Satan to delay posting of this article, and the first to persecute Brother Glenn and his family for sharing the shocking visions and daring to mention both Pastor Kim and Sister Christine by name. Until this week, my wife and I were keen followers of Pastor Kim, devoured all his books, attended 2 of his revivals (my wife attended the revival at Pastor Christine's Church in May 2013 this year), and even contributed some funds towards publishing the mysterious sixth book. Simply put, we swallowed his teachings: hook, line and sinker; even when we were not at peace about some of the things he said and the jokes he made. We also know Sister Christine, and I have even received a word from "Jesus" through her -- a very uplifting and encouraging word, I must admit! Until this article was published, my wife and I have been praying the way Pastor Kim taught us -- doing holy dance, praying for long periods on our knees with our hands lifted up, drilling loudly in tongues, and shouting and screaming "Holy Fire!" etc. All this in order for our prayers to be answered, to cast out any demons, and hopefully get our spiritual eyes open so we can see Jesus. My wife and I have also worked with Brother Glenn. So we are in a unique position to share some insights.

Before the article was published, I tried to use my closeness with Brother Glenn to stop him from posting it until he first contacts the persons mentioned and get a "second confirmation" from The Lord. You see, my wife and I both love both Pastor Christine and Pastor Kim, and we were skeptical that this vision was actually the Lord speaking. Like some of you here, I even went as far as doubting the vision was from the Lord Himself. This was a BIG MISTAKE on my part, as you will soon see!!

The Lord has warned us in His Word that in the last days there will be many false prophets:

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works"(2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect (Matthew 24:24).

Due to my putting pressure on Brother Glenn, the article was delayed by a day (usually the articles are posted by Tuesday mornings), and I was expecting the Lord to side with me -- that is, not mention the names before giving them a chance to respond. Lo and behold, the Lord in His righteous indignation and judgment exposed in another vision that there were big black demons in me, Pastor Kim and Sister Christine! Whether these demons were imparted in me at the revivals I do not know, but the Lord has since then heard my cry and this is one of the reasons I'm sharing this with you. The Lord was angry and said in a loud voice, "THEY [Pastor Kim and Sister Christine] ARE SPREADING FALSE NEWS, THEY ARE SPREADING FALSE NEWS AND NOT GOOD NEWS, AND THEY TOO WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED."

The Lord then commanded that Brother Glenn must mention their names and he must not be afraid or discouraged even though he will face persecution. The Lord also mentioned the spirit that was working in me and influencing me to defend Pastor Kim and Sister Christine - "offending, hurtful and demanding spirit." I (yes, me) was thus the first to persecute Brother Glenn and His family, and The Lord promised to punish my wife and I for defending the two aforementioned pastors which is pretty much calling Him false when He is the True and Faithful Witness (Psalm 33:4; Revelation 3:14).

We have been crying out to Him ever since to forgive us and not to punish us, as Habakkuk 3:2 says "O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy." And as Isaiah 54:8 says, "With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you," Says the Lord, your Redeemer."

So, those of you here just defending these pastors from your flesh and not standing on God's Word, beware. "If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear? "(Mark 4:23; Mark 7:16). Brother Glenn wrote the article in response to the many questions some of you have asked concerning some controversial subjects such as keeping the Sabbath on Sunday, etc. The Lord chose to reveal more through the vision, and Brother Glenn is simply obeying and being bold by sharing what The Lord has commanded him to share. So this is not a personal attack against Pastor Kim or Pastor Christine, and I strongly discourage against personal attacks and admonish you to exude the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, righteousness, and truth (Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9).

The Lord wants us to repent and turn from our wicked ways: "Do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who 'will render to each one according to his deeds'" (Romans 2:3-6).

Brother and Sisters, God is a very merciful, gracious, kind, loving and compassionate God (Exodus 34:6, John 3:16). But also, "Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's WRATH comes on those who are disobedient" (Ephesians 5:6).

The Bible clearly warns us saying "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The Biblical way to test such false teachings is not to shout "Holy Fire!" but through the Word of God as the Prophet Isaiah says in Isaiah 8:20 "To the law [God's Word, for Christ is the fulfillment of the Law] and to the testimony [of the Biblical prophets / apostles]! If they do not speak according to this word [the Word of God; the Bible], it is because there is no light in them." So let God's Word be THE STANDARD, and not simply man's teachings.

My admonition to you, brothers and sisters, is that if any teachings contradicts the Bible or does not line up with the Word of God, you are better off setting that teaching aside and sticking to God's Word, just like the Bereans, who "were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY to find out whether these things were so" (Acts 17:11).

The Prophet Jeremiah warns us against putting our trust (confidence/belief/credence/faith/acceptance/hope/reliance/conviction/dependence) in man, and he admonishes us in saying:

Thus says the Lord: CURSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN MAN
AND MAKES FLESH HIS STRENGTH, Whose heart departs from the Lord.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.

BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD, AND WHOSE HOPE IS THE LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes;

But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings (Jeremiah 17:5-10).

These are some insights we received from the Holy Spirit about some of this false teaching.

In conclusion, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. FOR GOD WILL BRING EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT, INCLUDING EVERY SECRET THING, WHETHER GOOD OR EVIL (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

May the Lord Sanctify you by His truth; His WORD (John 17:17) and may He sanctify and cleanse you with the washing of water by the WORD, that He might present [you] to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that [you] should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:26-27).

Response to Sister Christine

In response to the above, Pastor Christine wrote:

"And the man who posted it and has commented on pastor Kim’s site, not too long ago I fought for him as He desired a word from the King. I cried before my King, Jesus -the Alpha and Omega – who gave beautiful words to him as he himself testified and now look how he pays back the Lord! The Lord warned him to not post it but he also got deceived."

Thanks, Pastor Christine for the beautiful words you prayed for me, which indeed reaffirmed what the Lord says in Philippians 4:19 -"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."; the second part of Hebrews 13:5 -"For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.", and  Psalm 139:14 - "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" and James 1:5 - "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." The Lord bless you and reward you for your intercession.

My posting the message was not about payback. I was only being obedient to The Lord, and The Lord did not warn me not to post – He rebuked me for not wanting to post it as He had commanded. As a matter of fact, as I mentioned previously, I am the one who fought for the article not to be posted the day it was supposed to be posted. I pleaded with Brother Glenn to "follow the protocol" and warn Pastor Kim and Sister Christine first so they can have a chance to respond. Brother Glenn kindly agreed, even though the Lord had permitted him to reveal the names. So we took the matter to the Lord in prayer again and the same night the Lord gave me a STINGING rebuke, in addition to exposing that there were demons in Pastor Christine, Pastor Kim, and me (that caused me to defend the two pastors, in the process disobeying the Lord Jesus Christ). The Lord then commanded again that the names must be revealed. And so, having been heavily humbled and found guilty, I chose to obey The Lord's command. I have since then been pleading with the Lord for mercy, forgiveness and cleansing.

Brother and sisters, this is a warning to you all. I tried to defend the pastors but the Lord warned me that He would punish me severely for standing in the way of His command. You too will be punished if you choose to follow man and to fear man, rather than fearing God! BE WARNED! Just because the Lord exposed that there were demons in us doesn't mean that the rest of you are clean! The Lord in His grace and mercy exposed me, and regardless of what I think or feel, I have to fear God and surrender to Him in humble obedience. This is the path that I chose to take, instead of being defensive.

Many of you probably only read or hear about the gentle side of the Lord - how much He loves you, how precious you are, how prosperous He wants you to be, or lately - how he wants you to make vows to him (please help me find Scripture reference), etc. We all love hearing positive messages, but we are warned in 2 Timothy 4:3: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears". The Lord is also a righteous Judge who hates sin! The rebuke from the Lord resonated in my spirit, and instead of being defensive, I chose to humble myself before the Lord and ask for His grace and mercy, as well as seek deliverance.

Psalm 89:7 says that "God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those around Him" and Proverbs 29:25 says "The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe."

The words I received through Pastor Christine were encouraging, but they did not convict me of sin or lead me to repentance. I tried to defend Pastor Christine and Pastor Kim before the article was posted, but was rightfully rebuked by the Lord and warned, and because "God is not a respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34), He commanded that the names be revealed (1 Timothy 5:20). This is not simply a case of Brother Glenn or I not following protocol, but it's about being obedient to the Lord's command. The Lord rebuked Peter (Matthew 16:23), and Paul rebuked Peter as well (Galatians 2:11-21).

The Lord chose to expose us (me included) as He did, and there's no joy or glory for me to share that the Lord revealed demons in me in me that were influencing me to defend the pastors. We all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). We may defend ourselves in the public domain, but the Lord knows the secrets of our hearts, and He "will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14). I bless the Lord Jesus Christ that He judged me now than later, because now I have a chance to repent and walk in obedience and holiness, so that I may be found worthy to be caught up with Him and attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, as His Holy Bride (Revelation 19:6-9).

So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Matthew 10:28).

A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies (Proverbs 14:5 ).

I hope this clarification helps.

Warnings Worth Noting

Be wary of “extra-Biblical” revelations that do not line up with the Word of God! God’s Word should be the authoritative source.

“To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20).

“[Jesus] was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God” (Revelation 19:13).

“I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name (Psalm 138:2).

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness’ (Matthew 7:21-23)!

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow (Colossians 2:16-19).

Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. And their message will spread like cancer…” (2 Timothy 2: 14-17).

Finally, I have learnt my lesson, and going forward I have chosen to fear the Lord, trust in Him, and build my relationship with Him by dwelling in His Word, rather than running after signs and wonders. I thank the Lord Jesus for delivering me from false teachings, and for showing me the seriousness of my sin.

If you have been chasing after signs and wonders, or spending more time reading testimonies, dreams and visions, I strongly encourage to repent and turn back to God, and heed the words of Proverbs 28:13-14 - Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

In God's Mercy,
Brother A and Sister B.

UPDATE: After Brother A and Sister B repented from the false teachings, they thanked the Lord and He gave them an answer -- see Vision of Three Realms, given to Charis November 3, 2013. Hallelujah!

Brother Glenn’s Response to Pastor Christine's E-Mail

Hello My Dear Brethren:

Kindly find a conversation Pastor Christine and I had regarding the things she accused us and the things she denied. Please judge for yourself and seek the truth from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. This is just my version, the Lord Himself will answer her in POWER!

This is the conversation pastor Christine and I had. Remember I copied you and you rebuked me in return for saying she was dishonest. I was right because she said she did not say I must ask a word from the Lord but she said I should confirm the person in the vision if it was her. I only poured love onto this sister and never did I called her names. She volunteered to help our ministry now she is talking about it. I am truly hurt by her false hood. It is therefore the Lord Himself who will address her. As her brother, I have no malice in my heart for her but just love. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ rest upon her and may this God of Eternal Truth reveal the truth to everyone who read our testimonies. She removed our link from her website soon after I send her this email. She offered to place our link there as we did with hers. We only removed her link on Wednesday (16/10/2013) as a caution to our readers against the false teachings they proclaim. She has hit out maliciously and with lies. The Lord will reveal the whole truth about her for everybody to know that we only obeyed the Lord to warn the brethren against her false teachings with are riddled with lies.

As you may see, the Lord revealed this vision 3 days after she send us this email. Did I call her names according to our conversation below? Did she acknowledged and humbled herself before the Lord for the warning? Instead she attacked me even as she has done now. This is exactly what the current vision predicted. She is the one no calling us names and false and in holy truth, we are not hearing from a false Jesus. We don't have to defend ourselves, our Lord Jesus Christ shall reveal in POWER that He send us to her, pastor Kim and Kat Kerr. Everyone is welcome to examine what we teach, we do not spread error but holy living and obedience. The Lord Himself proofs that by the mighty vision He gives in support to augment His truth we convey. If we so loudly wrote and share with everyone publicly how the Lord rebuked us for wrong things that leads us to His truth does this not show our conviction for His truth, how could we ever live otherwise? Yes, I might not have gone to Hell but I believed there is a Hell before I ever heard testimonies from the Scriptures. My faith is in the Word of God. I write powerful articles every Monday teaching the Word of God, she is despising it and instead calling us false Christ.

Finally, when I wrote the Forgiveness article, I thought let me live what I preached, I text her and asked for forgiveness because I thought from the conversation below I was a bit harsh to her, after the same brother she says she got a word for rebuked me and said I was harsh to her. In truthfulness, I humbled myself and ask for forgiveness. It was for the conversation below and for nothing else. Everybody who reads the bible knows that God speaks in riddles and as you may have observed from the many visions the Lord gave us, He concealed the real meaning why... "It is for God's glory to reveal a matter" (Proverbs 25:2; Numbers 12:6-8).So then the Lord reveals His messages to us via visions which displays the Beauty of His Wisdom and profoundness. This is Scriptural in every sense. In the world we learn that a picture speaks a thousand words, but the Lord of TRUTH and Holiness portrays His TRUTH and message through these visions and leave a riddle for us to seek Him. Does Daniel, John, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Zechariah Hosea and all the prophets not receive visions that they did not understand unless the Lord provided the interpretation?

We declared and I say again, Charis see the form of the Lord and hear from Him every night and He appears to her just like the Scripture in Revelation 1:18. On the sash is written KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. I stand for TRUTH and not falsehood, of all the messages the Lord ever gave Charis nothing has failed to be truthful. I have studied the Scriptures on my own and academically for more than six years and nothing I came across no contradiction of the things the Lord revealed to Charis. She has never made up anything. We have asked the Lord for messages for many people across the World and NONE of them ever came back saying what the Lord revealed about them was false. We even secured a Word for Pastor Christine as well. She acknowledge that as truthful, by sending me a message saying she repent. We have not become her enemies by acknowledging the Lord first and write what we are send to do. This ministry is universal and the Lord is using this ministry and Charis to communicate His message to the BODY of CHRIST. take it or reject it, Charis is standing in the office of a prophet! And in Jesus name she never, never prophecy or predicted lies or falsehood. I never asked pastor Christine to add our link or place our testimonies on her website, she did that on her own. I expressed gratefulness to her, but using what she did for us as a weapon is hurtful and it shows she gave grudgingly. We only received help from her for our ministry work and not for ourselves. In conclusion, from our conversations below and vis text, Pastor Christine is not a person who like to receive correction. She is always right and never wrong. Please Judge for yourself based on all this and pray the Lord to help you discern if what we teach and our visions if they are lies, promoting sin and deception or even non-biblical. This is the way truth should be judged. The letter she send out recently in which she slandered us maliciously just as the vision the Lord gave Charis predicted comes from a bitter heart. She sounds very angry and abrasive. Even for this, as a family and ministry, we have forgiven her and we will continue to pray for her and pastor Kim. They are being rebuked by the Lord for false teachings and claiming they saw things which they did'nt. Brethren, please be careful of the yeast of pastor Christine she is not a truthful witness and an honest person, judge for yourself. I say the message we proclaim and post is leading and encouraging everyone to self bible study. We even say people follow Christ not us.

May the peace of God be multiplied to you all in Jesus name,

Brother Glenn

PS: If there is anything the Lord reveals concerning this matter and since it is in the public, we will not hasitate to share it with you. Only just be praying for us all, we love you!

Subject: Greetings
To:

My brothers and sister Choo: The Lord bless you!

For the past two months, I started seeing the number 13 in unusual way. It started really catching my attention more and more as I would see 13, everyday, 3+ times a day for a period of two months at least. I would for example be praying and when I check the time it would be like 7:13, 13 new messages on my cell, 12:13am etc. I have prayed to Lord to take this number away but it is still there. Today I saw it 4 times and now I have no doubt The Lord is telling me something.

Also for the past two weeks there has been increase in warfare like we have never experienced as a church. The spirit of DECEPTION is rampant in this last second. My prayers are with the Bride of Christ to endure and overcome.

God bless you all.

False Witness

Brief Introduction

First, we apologize for the delay in posting this article. During the last three weeks, I was bombarded with some very important questions from concerned brethren. Some of the questions were on the truthfulness of some people’s supernatural testimonies and divisive doctrinal subjects like the Sabbath. Our reply to these precious brethren has been honest and Biblical. Prompted by our conscience, we prayed more earnestly seeking confirmation and without asking the Lord directly, He showed Charis two separate visions involving three individuals who are spreading false news and false testimony. The Lord has commanded us to share these visions here with their names (1 Timothy 5:20). He gave us a message to share about a false witness.

A False Witness

“A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free” (Proverbs 19:5 NIV). Also, Paul warns us saying, “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbour, for we are all members of one body” (Ephesians 4:25).

Initially, according to the dictionary a false witness is someone who deliberately gives false testimony. If we give false testimony we are actually lying and when we lie we conceal the truth in order to deceive. As Christians, we are called to witness to the truth and that truth is normally what the Lord has done for us and others (Acts 4:20). Biblically, a false witness is someone who declares lies in the name of the Lord (Jeremiah 28:1-4). According to this Scripture, the prophet Hananiah lied when he declared in the name of the Lord that the exiles and articles of God’s temple would be returned to Israel. Undoubtedly, he meant well because he was comforting the people and creating hope, but God had planned this disaster against Judah for their sins. God considered his actions rebellious and judgement was pronounced against him (Jeremiah 28:15-17).

As it is, this has not changed today; we have many false witnesses speaking in the name of the Lord. I hasten to add, there are very truthful witnesses of the Lord out there, but equally there are some false witnesses as well. Like the prophet Hananiah, he could not resist the temptation for recognition. False witnesses are both inside and outside the body of Christ; their aim is to deceive and create followers. For Satan’s lies to be accepted by Christians, he will speak like us and pretend to be like us in order to deceive; he is a smooth operator. Satan became a lying spirit amongst us and the Lord permits him because we choose not to abide in the truth (2 Chronicles 18:17-22; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). From the example of King Ahab’s prophets, their intention was to please the King; they did not consider what was important to God. These prophets served the King and his interest. They did not consider it sinful to speak lies in the name of the Lord; they told the King what he wanted to hear.

The Motive of a False Witness

Conversely, we have many “prophets” today who claim to hear from the Lord. In my observation of what they say I noticed three things: firstly, they speak to please man; their message does not address people’s sin, but only what God can do (Lamentations 2:14). Secondly, a false witness has all the answers and they think they are never wrong (2 Chronicles 18:23-24). Thirdly, they are not submissive to the Lord; they are boastful and controlling and they like to have the final say (3 John 1:9-10). We know for certain that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has not come with enslavement to us, but with a free will to act under the conviction of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 10:16). If we act from the conviction by the Holy Spirit we do so in submission and obedience to the Lord. However, if we act from fear we are thus not acting by faith but to enslavement and obedience to man rather than God (Romans 14:23).

How to Identify a False Witness

It is somewhat difficult to identify a false witness unless we test and pray for discernment (1Thessalonians 5:21, Acts 17:11). Their message seems to sound good and Biblically correct to draw us to them. The Lord Jesus Christ told us that we will know them by their fruits (Matthew 7:15-20). The apostle Paul said we must test what they say and hold on to what builds up (1 Thessalonians 5:21). It is very easy to identify the spiritual fruit of someone we live with, but how do we exactly identify the fruit in the message we receive from those far away? It’s not quite easy, but their message should augment the Scriptures and lead us to truthful obedience in Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Correspondingly, how do we apply attestation to the truthfulness of the testimonies? Firstly, the message must not contradict the Bible but lead us to its truth; secondly, the testimony must not take away or add anything to the word of God (Revelation 22:19); and thirdly, if there was a prediction from the Lord, then it has to come true (Deuteronomy 18:22; Jeremiah 28:9). Also, a true witness and testimony from God does not bring bondage and new rules; it brings joy and excitement (Romans 8:15). The testimony or revelation from the Lord must be for His glory and not loyalty to a church or leader.

Finally, I would like to share some visions the Lord showed Charis during this past weekend. These visions are all about false witnesses. Brothers and sisters, we have not asked the Lord to reveal this to us. We simply prayed and discussed certain things amongst ourselves, comparing what we heard with Scripture. Before I proceed, let me reiterate that we, as a family, owe our loyalty to our Lord Jesus Christ and to His truth. We have allowed no one to influence the messages and visions the Lord gave us.

There were, however, attempts by the enemy to stop us from sharing these visions with you, hence the delay in the posting of this article. The Lord told me not to fear; He will answer questions and reveal what is hidden. I am just being obedient to the Lord. I warn you: these short visions will come as a shock to many people. Furthermore, the Lord said if we follow Him, we will accept His message, but if we don’t we will resist and say He is false by exposing these false witnesses. As for us, we have nothing to hide, or to fear.

In the three and a half years of the Lord’s visitations to us, He showed Charis mighty things and she continues to operate in the word of wisdom, word of knowledge and discerning of spirits in the power of the Holy Spirit as often as the Spirit wills. Being her father, it would be natural for people to think that I am biased. I have heard Biblical truth from her testimony, and I believe and I am a witness that she does see the Lord Jesus Christ and hear Him speak to her face to face every night. No word the Lord gave Charis about anyone has ever failed to proof truthful. The One she sees calls Himself KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. I am not testifying about Charis, but what the Lord has done and is still doing. Like Gehazi, I am a witness to the Lord’s mighty deeds (2 Kings 8:4-6).

Visions of False Witnesses

Brethren, I am sharing this out of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ and not out of malice or jealousy. The Lord knows my true motives and I love all men and women of God, but I have a message from Him and that is to testify to His truth. I know many, many brethren will not believe that this is from our Lord Jesus Christ, and some will even attack and label us the false witnesses. Again, our message is from our Lord Jesus Christ and there are souls who are deceived and fed lies. I’d rather seek company with God than man. I read that these brethren claim to hear from the Lord, but they fail to obey Him and stop to spread false news. However, discerning Christians will know that the things they say are false. Their testimony speaks about Christ, but what they say and claim to have seen in certain respects does not come from Him. The Lord promised to punish them for spreading false news.

Background to Vision

Before I share the first vision, let me share the background so that you understand why this was revealed. This past Friday evening (October 11, 2013) we watched a testimony of Kat Kerr sent to me by a beloved brother in the Lord. In this video she answered questions on certain things she saw in Heaven. What was particularly disturbing in her testimony was that “Superman” would teach us to fly in Heaven. Could he (Superman) fly in real life except on Television only? In short, there are many other things she claims which are not Scriptural. Since I was watching this with my wife and children who know the Scriptures and can discern error, I was asked questions by them as I was equally disturbed by what she said. We simply just said we don’t believe some things she said, but we will just pray for her.

Late Saturday afternoon, Charis went to bed and the Lord appeared to her in a vision. This is what the Lord showed her and confirmed it again this morning October 15, 2013. “I had a vision from the Lord on the October 12, 2013 and in the vision the Lord replayed the scene of us as a family watching the full video on Sister Kat Kerr’s testimony. While watching the Lord opened my eyes so I could see into each one’s heart including mine what was going on inside. I saw what looked like a movement similar to that of fog moving and twisting about inside us. I knew in this vision this meant that we were disturbed and troubled by the things she said. I also knew she was being untruthful in the things she said. I then heard the Lord said, That woman’s testimony is very false”. Then the vision ended”.

Comment: We believed Sister Kat Kerr’s testimony and we were blessed by the beauty and purity of Heaven she described. The Lord says she means well, but she is a false witness saying things he did not show or tell her. We are not saying this but the Lord! And He is calling her to repentance from being a false witness. The Lord’s message to her readers, Don’t just believe any testimony”.

The Sabbath Question

The Sabbath question is the background for the next vision. I was sent emails by concerned brothers asking me if we heard from the Lord concerning Sabbath observance and what the Lord said. I felt very disturbed by a brother’s questions and his continuous reference to Pastor Kim’s vision. Since the Lord is speaking to us, we got a message for the brother in which the Lord told him that he should not just believe any testimony. These brethren needed clarity since they were driven by fear and they want to obey the Lord (1 Timothy 1:7). My response to them has always been that we do not observe Sabbath and the Lord said it is not a sin to use money on a Sunday.

Briefly on the Sabbath, under the Mosaic covenant obedience sprang from fear (Hebrews 2:2; 12:25-27); in the New covenant obedience springs from a willing heart and mind (Hebrews 8:10-12). This new and better Covenant (Hebrews 8:6) resulting in God setting the Old covenant aside and introduced the New covenant (Hebrews 8:7-13). We know the Jewish Sabbath is observed on a Saturday (and where in Scripture does the bible say the Lord instituted Sunday as a Christian Sabbath?) We know the argument that our Lord rose from the death on the first day of the week, but this was never instituted as an official Christian Sabbath. I am not writing an article on the Sabbath here but for the sake of the readers a brief explanation is needed. The early church was warned against submitting themselves to legalistic observance of the Sabbath days (Colossians 2:16, Galatians 4:9-11). The word Sabbath literally means, “Cessation from labour, or rest”. In Scripture it appears as God’s day of rest in the finished work of creation. It was observed as complete rest by the Israelites (Exodus 35:2-3). The seventh day Sabbath was never made to be a day of sacrifice, worship, or a person’s need. The Lord said, The Sabbath was made for man and not man for it (Mark 2:27). The Scriptures (Colossians 2:16; Hebrews 4:4) also explain to the Christian that it is not a day to be observed; it relates to a future Sabbath rest in Christ. We are not encouraging disobedience to the 10 commandments as this is often quoted to justify Sunday Sabbath observance as being part of the law. Brethren, what we are saying, the Lord has not given the Christians a Sabbath even the apostles when they considered their message to the gentile church and questions about the law, they said. “Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that we are saved, just as they are” (Acts 15:10-11). Don’t you think this included the Sabbath? This is what Pastor Kim and Pastor Christine from the Blazing Holy Fire ministries’ teach. The Lord says this is a false teaching and not from Him. There are also other unbiblical teachings like “holy fire impartation” and “holy dance.” Does this save souls? Is this Biblical? With Pastor Kim’s many visits to Hell, he claims to have seen Christians in Hell for failing to obey the Sabbath: the Lord Jesus Christ says this is false. Don’t base your most precious faith in Christ Jesus on any person’s testimony; follow the Bible teachings only. Nor do I say come follow us, NO! Follow the Lord Jesus Christ; He sends us to you to warn you on false teachings in these last days. We do not seek our own glory, your money or anything; we are sent as witnesses. We dispense truth, correction and love from this ministry. Finally if time permits in the future, we will devote a full article to this divisive subject.

Vision of Pastor Kim and Pastor Christine

Given to Charis on October 13, 2013

“I was shown a vision in the early hours of the above date. In this vision, I saw Jaydeen and I in a big white room. There was a fence separating Jaydeen and I from Pastor Christine and Pastor Kim from the Blazing Holy Fire Ministry. It looked dim or misty on their side and by our side there was a pure bright light with love and truthfulness. In the vision, I heard the Lord speak through Jaydeen and say, “The Lord has spoken to me and Charis and told us the truth; the Lord says you are not spreading good news but false news”. When they heard this, they were pointing at us and slandering us maliciously. Then Lord Himself spoke and said, ‘See these people are pretending to be clean in the company of others, but they are wicked when they are alone. They are acting the same way My daughter Christine behaved when I rebuked her for predicting falsely. (The Lord gave a vision on December 31, 2012 rebuking Pastor Christine for predicting falsely on the Lord’s coming. I have an email that she copied me on her “prediction”. You may read that vision in this article (Celebrate Christ in Praise and Worship on New Year's Day). In the vision you will notice the Lord added 2014 and 2015 merely to stop her from continuing the following years.) You must just pray for them for spreading false news, with Pastor Kim being even worse.’ I was troubled by this vision but I knew the Lord was sending me”. End of vision!

Comment: Whether we worship on Sunday or Monday, we do so in the joy of the Holy Spirit and in honor to the Lord (Romans 14:5-6).We worship and serve the Lord every day and that is what the Bible encourages and we must work while it is still called today (Hebrews 3:13). In my opinion, out of their zeal for God they decided to spread false news and by adding to God’s word’s (Revelation 22:19). The Lord did not say their entire testimony is flawed, but it is tainted by adding what the Lord did not say. We are not here to defend ourselves or our ministry; we are just being obedient to share as the Lord revealed. This is for the benefit of the body of believers and innocent souls; it is not about our egos or ministries. The flock belongs to Christ, not man! I therefore encourage anyone who thinks we made this up to ask the Lord. Since the Lord is in truthfulness speaking to us, these brethren the Lord is rebuking in this article are welcome to hear from the Lord Himself from this ministry with convincing proof that the Risen Christ Jesus is speaking to this ministry and family. This is for their repentance and abstinence from false doctrines and false visions. Finally, the Lord did warn us this morning that we will be persecuted for this message, and we briefly tasted this persecution.

Blessed grace and Christ Jesus’ eternal love and peace be multiplied to you.

Brother Glenn, Charis and Jaydeen.

Blessings From The Lord

“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands that I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 28:1-2 NIV).

Obedience Results in Blessings

In addition to this article, this week we are sharing two visions the Lord gave Charis. Those visions demonstrate that God blesses those who obey Him. It is further evident from the above Scripture that the Lord “prunes every branch so that it will be even more fruitful” (John 15:2 NIV). It is also evidence given to the Israelite people’s circumstances – the Lord declared blessing upon them appropriate to their needs and His goodwill for them (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

Evidently, in nature and in the course of our relationship with our children or other people, we reserve rewards for good behaviour but reprisal for bad behaviour. Likewise, the God of the highest Heaven is pleased if we show reverent regard for His commands, and He rewards us appropriately in order to encourage us to submit even more faithfully (John 15:2). Let me point this out: obedience is not a precondition to blessings; instead it is a command from God as a guard against His wrath (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). The blessings are a reward for obedience. Since God knows all our needs (Matthew 6:8), He supplies them using our obedience (Matthew 6:33).

Therefore, the Lord commanded us not to worry about food or clothing (Matthew 6:25-26),which are our most basic concerns. He wants to give us eternal life; that is why we are commanded to store up treasures for ourselves in Heaven, and these treasures are stored in Heaven through our obedience and fruit bearing (Matthew 6:19-20). If our motives are only to receive blessings instead of being obedient, then we disregards His command; this is disobedience. Our heart and attitude should always be to put His Word and will before our needs. Yes, before our needs, because He promised to take care of us (Matthew 6:33).

When David wanted to build a temple for God's ark, his intention was to please God and to do God's will, and for that He was blessed with an eternal promise which was fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ. This was a spiritual blessing, and His material blessing was his Kingdom being firmly established until his death. David was blessed for his obedience, but also punished for disobedience (1 Chronicles 17:1-14; 21:1-30).

Moreover, when King Solomon put His request to God, He earnestly desired to do what was good to the Lord, and because He chose God’s will above His own needs, He was blessed beyond measure –spiritually, with knowledge and wisdom; as well as materially with wealth and riches (2 Chronicles 1:7-12). King Solomon needed the spiritual blessing to do the will of God; how many of us desire only the material blessings and not the spiritual to be useful to God in ministry to others? Also note in this passage of scripture: God knew what was in King Solomon’s heart; that is why the Lord communicated his heart’s desire in the vision. This is exactly the same thing He did knowing the children’s hearts and needs in Charis’ Visions of Obedience and Blessings. The experience is played out in the spiritual and the meaning is realised in the natural (Acts 16:10). Paul did not go look for that man he saw in the vision; it was the Lord who spoke through that man commanding the apostle to go preach the gospel there. (There will be an article in the not too distant future on “Understanding Visions,” with the help of the Lord, should He tarry).

Similarly, Joshua and Caleb put their faith and obedience in God before the promised blessings (Joshua 14:6-9). In other words, they chose hardship first as a test of endurance in order to be counted worthy to receive God’s approval. They were then rewarded for their obedience (Joshua 14:6-15; 19:49-50). God’s blessings are free and without repentance, but overlooking His Word of command in pursuit of a blessing or gift is loveless disobedience towards God.

Are We Only Interested in God’s Blessings?

Brethren as I tried to explain above, we should not use our needs to hold God ransom to supply our needs first and then we will obey. This is testing Him and showing that we have no love for Him and reverence for His Word. Joshua was also warned to “…not let this BOOK of the LAW departs from your mouth; …be careful to DO everything written in it. THEN you will prosperous, and successful” (Joshua 1:8). I am not magnifying “prosperity” here; God warned us about the trap set by the devil on the deceit of earthly wealth (Mark 4:19; 1 Timothy 6:9-11). Those of you who live by faith like my family and I will be content with the provisions God supplies, but those who want more than what they need are driven by greed. Quite frankly, when we have an abundant supply of material things, we have very little of God because we pay our way through. Neither do I promote poverty here; poverty comes as a result of laziness and disobedience (Proverbs 6:6-11).

Let me share a brief testimony with you. I once invited some people over to my house, to come fellowship and seek the Lord with us. These men were unemployed, unsaved and burdened with addictions. They came in response to my invitation; I ministered the word of God to them and encouraged them to seek the Lord more earnestly, not just with the eye on the material need but for the eternal salvation of their souls. After ministering the word of God to them, and we extended the invitation to them to accept Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They rejected this invitation. However, when we asked if we may pray in agreement with anyone for a real need as child of God, they came forward for prayer. When they came, I encouraged them again to seek the Lord first; they promised to make right with God just for the sake of prayer.

This is the attitude of most of us; we are disobedient and are only interested in what we can get out of God, but we are unwilling to fully obey and do His will. Additionally, the Bible addresses the born again Christians as well as the unsaved people. The saved are taught by the Old Testament examples of the consequences of disobedience, as well as the reward of obedience (Deuteronomy 28:1-68). The unsaved are excluded from the promises of God due to disobedience and a lack of faith (Hebrews 11:6). I have a point to drive home here: while it is Biblical to pray for people, when ministering to people it is sinful to pray for their physical needs only and not for their salvation. This creates the impression that we just use God and need Him only in time of need. The deception is also that we do not need to obey, “God will understand”. This is wrong kind of gospel; God is interested in obedience leading to eternal life more than just the supply of our material needs (Romans 2:6-8).

From the visions of blessings the Lord gave Charis, the Lord did not only minster to the children’s material needs, but He supplied the spiritual want first, and then reward for their effort in obedience. In conclusion, when we minister deliverance to people, we express their need in accepting Christ, but when unsaved people have need we just pray for them without expressing to them that the promises are for the children of God. The devil also gives “blessings” which he really uses to ensnare us and if disobedient people receive a need, they credit God, but communicate to us that God will bless you even if you don’t live right. Let me put it this way: God blesses our obedience as we Scripturally showed and uses that as a testimony to others. The devil fakes God’s holy character and “blesses” disobedient people who witness that God blessed them, but they continue in sin. I am not saying God does not bless the unsaved; He does (Matthew 5:45), but with the blessing to the unsaved He says, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:10-11). I only received breakthrough in Christ when the Lord delivered me from addictions and bad things. His character had to be seen in me so that His testimony is magnified in purity and obedience. Let us preach truth by properly representing Christ to the unsaved needy.

Blessed peace and love to you in Jesus name,

Brother Glenn.

Spirit of Division

“But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, dissentions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. After a first and second admonition, have nothing more to do with anyone who causes division (Titus 3:9-10 NRSV).

“I appeal to you brothers by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgement” (1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV).

Satan’s Weapons for Sowing Divisions in the Body

Simply put, and from a Christian perspective, division is anything thing that distracts us from faithfully following Christ – money, a day, some leader or worldly things, these can become forms of idolatry. The spirit of division is so rampant among Christians that many of us walk in hatred and not love. I would like to emphasize, as in previous articles, obedience to Christ is evidenced in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and not just the gifts. The fruits come first and it is proof enough to augment the gifts.

As it is, divisions are Satan’s most successful weapon. He weakens our work and the body of Christ through divisions and this is where countless souls are being led astray. Some of the weapons that Satan uses include: the Scriptures (Matthew 4:5-7); he uses church leaders (Number 16; 1 Corinthians 3:1-8); he uses money and worldly things (Matthew 4:8-9); he uses our evil desires, (Genesis 3:6); he uses jealousies and strife (1 Corinthians 3:3); he uses pride and boasting in man and worldly things (1 Corinthians 1:31); and he uses demonic spirits (Acts 16:16-18; Ephesians 6:11). The principle behind divisions is to deceive, control and destroy unsuspecting people (John 10:10). This is a wicked act of Satan and his agents who can be human or demonic. The spirit of division will always take Christ out of the picture and make some other object the focus. In addressing some common concerns among Christians and especially points sensitive to some people, the apostle Paul said, …the substance (or what matter) belongs to Christ” (Colossians 2:17).

How Do We Overcome the Spirit of Division?

I am going to use my own experience and that of our ministry with the Lord to try to explain. You may judge my motive whether it is to divide or to unite in Christ. In repentance, we accept Jesus as our Lord and He is the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). Therefore after accepting Christ the work of the church is to build us up in Him. He is the purpose of our unity and faith (Colossians 2:6-7; Ephesians 2:21-22). Therefore, every motive and doctrine must be based on this premise: does it lead to unity and obedience to Christ (1 Corinthians 10:31)? If it is control and pursuit of some doctrine outside Christ, then the motive is to promote sectarianism and a display of ‘superiority’; this is what the apostle Paul warned the Corinthian church about (1 Corinthians 3:21-23).

Furthermore, when our Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles gave us instructions to holy living, they did so to help us build up the inner attitude (Matthew 15:11; Ephesians 4:17-32; Colossians 3:5-17). The spirit of division is broken through the uniting force of love (Colossians 3:14). When we as believers first came to the Lord, we heard that He loves us and as sinners He would forgive us if we believe in the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ on our behalf.

Experiences of Unity in Our Ministry

Please bear with me brethren, I am aware that I did mention in previous articles how I came to the Lord. For the purpose of this article I will briefly relate to my conversion experience. Remember our message is unity and to root out division. When I grew up as a child, I was sent to church by my parents. I had no relationship with God, so I just obeyed my parents. Although I did not understand the things I was taught in the church, I believed there was a God who created us.

As time progressed, I stopped attending church and made my own decisions. I was witnessed to by many people and I even questioned why there are so many churches. They could not really answer me and honestly, many people also use this as an excuse not to serve the Lord. They point to this as a division and they claim confusion. This is true to a certain extent; I say so because each person has the responsibility to inquire the truth from God Himself (Romans 1:18-21). Because we are by nature sinners, we totally ignore God’s message of salvation and use the spirit of division as an excuse not to obey (Romans 1:28-32).

I had no contact with any church-going person and found myself among people who practiced the same wrong things I did. Because there was no measure for my conscience, I just continued in sin like the above Scripture says, until one day, and out of curiosity, I came across a copy of a Gideon New Testament Bible. I started reading it in my free time, not to know God, but to understand for myself what the Bible actually says. I read each book of the New Testament in this pocket-sized Bible. Prior to reading the Bible, I never had dreams about God, but this started to happen and my attention was arrested to read more. I started to feel ashamed of my ways, and I realized that I needed God’s love. I was also gripped with fear for God; this especially bothered me when I read the book of Revelation. I wanted to be saved to escape the things written in this Book. I prayed and I inquired from people around me about a church. I wanted someone to take me to church because I was shy; I am naturally a shy person. I have confidence in Christ only!

Anyway, since there was no one, I stayed home and continued reading the Bible and I went on my knees and accepted the Lord in my room. Later on I was told by a colleague about a Full Gospel Church in my area. Since they were having services at night, I went to check it out. I liked the fellowship and decided to attend services there every night. I was just happy serving the Lord and reading the Bible and witnessing to others this great love and truth. The point I am making and in relation to our message today is that I only became fully aware of the divisions in the body of Christ when I started witnessing to people. They discouraged me through the various things I was told that I was not observing. I loved the Lord and I surely experienced His joy. I had a simple faith in Christ, doing and believing what the Bible says. But when I was pointed to doctrinal issues, I became discouraged and confused. My faith was shaken and I needed answers from those who served the Lord before me. I went to another church hoping to find answers, as well as reading every book that attempted to address the subject. This carried on for a few months until I was introduced to a very knowledgeable friend. This brother was an ordained minister of the Gospel, and I admired his Bible knowledge. He spotted my vulnerability and confusion in the Scriptures and I viewed his opinion as sacrosanct. I thank God that He enabled me to learn a lot through this brother; I loved him and still do, but he displayed bad fruit, and that was to control me and make me think like him. Brethren, I have shared this brief testimony to show how we can get confused and fall away from the truth. We in return take this state of confusion and spread it to the body of Christ and so we ignite the flame of division leading to further weakening of the body. Many ‘fathers’ of denominations expressed an interest in a particular set of scriptures and either deny or disprove certain Bible truths. This leads to followers of man and Christ is abandoned. This is the spirit of division, when we divide the word of God and decide what we ought to believe and what is irrelevant to believe. In contrast, the entire Word of God is profitable (2 Timothy 3:16) and useful for our salvation.

As a ministry, we grow out of a prayer group coming from various denominations. We set aside ‘denominational loyalty’ and focus on Christ Jesus and His Lordship. We concentrate on what He wants us to do. And as we come together and meet in His name, we focus on worship, praise, prayer, fellowship, testimony, the ministry of the Word, discipline through rebukes for wrong actions, and the furtherance of the Lord’s command of soul winning. As a local body, Christ is the centre of our lives, and we are God’s temple through the indwelling Holy Spirit. As we focus on Christ and the work we are called to do, unity of purpose in Christ is seen and He is glorified. Also, of all the messages the Lord gives us to communicate to you, He expresses no approval of any particular church or doctrine, but He concentrates instead on our relationship with Him and holy living. He warns us to focus on Him and what the Bible teaches.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and complete your salvation in Him.

Blessed grace,

Brother Glenn.
