Watch Out And Pray!

Attack From The Enemy

“While people are saying, ‘Peace and safety,’ destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

Urgent Prayer Request

Presently our Country, South Africa is facing crippling blackouts! Our electricity problem is so severe we only have power for about 6 hours during the day. The situation is very bad, so we need to join hands and pray for our country.  The Lord said that cursing or condemning our leaders will not bring about His solution but His wrath (Romans 13:2; 1 Timothy 2:2). Angry and frustrated as we may become, as Christians we have a duty to pray, intercede and stand in the gap for our Land and fellow men (Ezekiel 22:30; Genesis 18:32). Let us, therefore, leave Church and denominational issues aside and unite through God's Spirit and pray persistently for the problems of our Land. By being persistent in prayer we simply mean that we should pray daily for the problems of our Land and our leaders.

In addition, Brethren the Lord has revealed that as we get closer to the Rapture and His Second Coming, this will get worse in the world. The Lord repeated this to me, saying, "wars are decreed until the end and it will multiply in intensity and the world will be struck with various kinds of natural disasters in various countries" (Luke 21:9-11). I repeat as I mentioned in my previous article, 'Mark of the Beast III', the next order or the new world order will lead many people and companies into bankruptcy, and poverty, and I heard the Lord say, many Christians who love the things of the world will doubt Him and abandon their faith. This is something the Lord clearly revealed to me, there will be a mass departure from the faith, but only those who endure until the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13; 2 Timothy 2:1-3).

Things To Come

It must be added though that the economic cost of this pandemic will be felt for years to come and many people will not take heed and forget about the virus as being a warning from God and will continue in their sins. The Bible says, “When you see trouble coming, don't be stupid and walk right into it--be smart and hide” (Proverbs 22:3 CEV). Beloved brethren and those who follow the Lord from a distance, commit your ways to the Lord (Ephesians 2:10;  Psalm 37:5) and use this opportunity of lockdown(s) wisely to move closer to God. Mark my words, in the months, to come there will be job losses, starvation crippling strikes all over. While there will be some temporary relief and it will appear as if life has returned to ‘normal’, we will enter into another disastrous phase! We will discuss this in some future articles. Please do not be deceived into thinking things will be the same or even better after the outbreak of this virus!

The Lord has decreed judgment for the world and the end-times signs (Revelations 17:1) of God will only increase in intensity (Romans 9:28; Isaiah 24:3). Now as the Lord permits we will write more on some of these things in detail. Additionally, some world leaders will come and promise that better days have arrived but be warned! No person can guarantee us the day for tomorrow only the Lord can (Matthew 6:34).

Finally, in this short article, we encourage you to follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ daily and faithfully. Please refrain from having grudges and walking in unforgiveness against others! Walk in forgiveness, love, and be at peace with others (Romans 14:19; James 3:18). Endure hardship and stop complaining (as we know the Lord is not pleased with Christians who complain bitterly), but seek encouragement from the Lord, the Holy Spirit and even from the brethren close to you. Also, repent your sins as often as you get an opportunity and not just when you have a quiet prayer for the Lord will come SUDDENLY and destruction will follow (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

If you would like to receive God's forgiveness and be set free from the guilt of sin and be born again please pray using this suggested prayer, our  Prayer of Sincere Repentance. For any questions or comments on this article or our ministry, please contact us.

Blessed Peace
