Waiting On God Produces Hope
"The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him... it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD" (Lamentations 3:25-26 NIV).

Just after my evening prayers, I fell asleep and heard a strong choir singing loudly WITH THEIR VOICES BEING HEARD ACROSS THE WORLD, "SOON AND VERY SOON, WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING" repeatedly...End of Vision!
A few years ago, I received a precious and most beautiful promise from the Lord, which I'm not going to disclose here. As we all know, it is very hard to exercise patience while waiting, but the spirit of hope kept the anticipation alive. I was looking forward to each new day, while praying for the fulfilment of the promise. Without any exaggeration, there is nothing so completely fulfilling and refreshing as a direct prophetic WORD on a person's life, knowing the Almighty God Himself watches over His Word to bring it to fruition (Jeremiah 1:12), and this comes with an overwhelming sense of being favored by the Lord and His reassuring love.
While holding on to the promise, our faith is being tested (Romans 4:18-22), and dark shadows of doubt enter us, leading us to despair and impatience (Exodus 32:1), which comes with severe consequences (Numbers 11:26-35). Having known the Lord for more than 30 years and being exposed to various Ministries, I have observed that many Christians have been taught incorrectly to demand things from God, following the "name it and claim it" deceptive doctrine.
Brethren, when the Lord has promised us something, He requires us to humbly approach Him in all fear and trembling (2 Samuel 6:9; Hebrews 12:21). The Lord is no respector of persons (Acts 10:34), and while we wait on Him to deliver on His promises, we should be mindful of His authority and Lordship over our lives (Ephesians 5:23). We once had a brother in the Lord requesting us to ask the Lord for a Word for him. The tone of his request was at best disrespectful, demanding, and inappropriate, and the Lord's response was a gentle yet stern rebuke.
In conclusion, let us exercise patience and persevere in prayer while waiting for those precious promises of the LORD.
Blessed Regards
Brother Glenn
