Beauty in Christ

 Our Glory Is Christ

“And why worry about clothes? Look how the wildflowers grow: they do not work or make clothes for themselves. But I tell you that not even King Solomon with all his wealth had clothes as beautiful as one of these flowers (Matthew 6:28-29).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Brethren, Brother Glenn took ill for this week, and please be on the lookout for a refreshing article and a message from the Lord soon.

In case you may not have noticed, if a person is in Christ, He literally glows you up. In other words, the Lord makes you more beautiful and gives you a “Spiritual makeover.”

Now, God has created all men in his image. (Genesis 1:27) But once you serve Christ, be “Born-again”, he doesn’t just renew you from within but outside as well. You are a new creation all around.

This just goes to tell me that after Our Father has blessed us with the gift of Salvation, he provides for our physical well-being as well. That’s the God we serve! He really takes care of all our needs. You are as beautiful as a flower (Matthew 6:28-29).

His light and Love (Love is also who He is) shines through us for the Glory of Christ Jesus Our Lord.  People will and can see if you bear the good fruit of Christ, and then they praise and envy you. Isn’t that beauty in Christ once again? (Psalm 139:14).

Seek beauty. Seek beauty in God. You will never have to adorn yourself with worldly ornaments if you are seeking beauty in Christ. Let us recall what the Apostle Paul said, “I also want the women to be modest and sensible about their clothes and to dress properly; not with fancy hairstyles or with gold ornaments, or pearls or expensive dresses” (1 Timothy 2:9-10 GNB).

A few weeks ago, I walked into an old family friend, Linda (not real name), and immediately when I saw her, my heart broke into pieces. She looked extremely frail, sickly, and undernourished. I could sense that her spirit was broken, and while considering her state, the Holy Spirit started to minister to me, saying when you do your own thing and do not follow the Lord Jesus, bad fruits will manifest and corrode you inside out, showing exactly what your spirit was feeding on. Now that’s not beauty in Christ at all!

Now, as it is, our message to you is that we must first seek God’s kingdom. Become a part of the body of Christ, and all peace, inner and outer beauty, will become yours. There are so many fresh benefits in the Lord.

In conclusion, you should absolutely want what Christ has to offer. Just worshiping him is a beauty in itself.

 With encouraging love

The Holy And Sanctifying Power Of Prayer

The Boosting Power Of Prayer Is Faith

"But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word" (Acts 6:4 KJB).

The above scriptural quotation should be the benchmark of any Church or ministry. The Lord taught us that prayer is useless without an act of faith. In other words, we simply cannot just pray without believing that the thing we pray for is going to come to pass (Mark 11:24). Similarly, the Apostle Paul was trying to demonstrate to us the effect of faith when he said, 'I believe; therefore, I have spoken' (2 Corinthians 4:13 NIV).

Now, let me try to demonstrate the point I'm trying to make. I recently trusted the Lord to bless us with something we badly needed for our ministry work. When I shared this need with someone in our ministry to support me in prayer, he summarily rebuked while that rebuke was discouraging it did not dampen my faith in trusting the Lord for the thing, and for his lack of confidence, the Lord rebuked him for not exercising his faith. As it was, with that rebuke from the Lord, the brother believed the Lord and combined his faith and efforts with mine and we embarked on a journey of prayer until the Lord answered prayer and provided the need.

Persistent Prayer Yields Results

Furthermore, depending on the type of need, the Lord often encouraged us to pray continually without questioning when He would be answering.  I need to stress though, that only the Lord knows how much faith and how many prayers it would take for Him to deliver on a need, however, while you are waiting for your answer the Lord requires us to be persistent and persevere in prayer (Luke 18:1-8). As for the salvation of a human being, it also requires daily prayers which should only be suspended when either you or the person dies. We were taught by the Lord that the only time we stop praying for a person is when they died (Ecclesiastes 9:5; Isaiah 38:18).

In addition, on a recent visit to my father, I was told that a lady we knew was very ill and that she was bedridden. Admittedly, we never prayed for her and her family, and nor did I pray before going to her. However, after I learned about her deteriorating condition, we visited her and I asked her husband if I could pray for her. After obtaining her permission I went in to pray for her but before I was about to pray for her, I read from the scriptures to encourage and awaken her faith. Now, those who were present including her husband discerned the Presence of the Lord.

The Lord revealed two things to me just praying for her. She was concentrating more on her pain and groaning than on the prayer (Matthew 14:30) He said that she did not have enough faith, and my mistake was I did not pray for her prior to going to her that is why I could not win her soul and that demonic forces were 'blinding her faith' so that she ignored my prayer including the invitation to accept Christ as Lord (2 Corinthians 4:4). Sadly, she died the next day. In conclusion, any person or soul we have been witnessing and prayed for gives us a legitimate right to claim that soul for the Kingdom of God as we labored for the salvation of that particular person.

Blessed Regards

God Will Punish The Wicked

God's Covenantal Dominion

“Thus I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity; I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud and abase the haughtiness of the ruthless” (Isaiah 13:11).

Scripturally, we can be sure that the world will receive its hour of punishment from God Almighty (Revelation 3:10) and the only way a person could escape that era of judgment is through salvation in Christ, who will rapture those who are waiting on Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Hebrews 9:28). Throughout the centuries, the world has been enduring catastrophes like floods, diseases, volcanic eruptions, severe weather conditions, earthquakes, and tsunamis, these the bible says are normal seasonal patterns as a result of the ground being cursed by God (Genesis 3:17-19; 8:22).

As it is, these seasonal disruptions were meant to co-exist with humanity ‘as long as the earth endures’ (Genesis 8:22). There is thus no way we could attribute these natural life disruptions as God punishing us.

Furthermore, Brethren we need to understand that God is immutable (Hebrews 13:8), He does not change the course of nature or creation halfway but allows things to run the course He ordained it for until He makes all things new (Revelation 21:4-5; Genesis 9:9-17). In other words, God establishes His Sovereignty through covenants, just as the above scriptures suggest that He sets aside the old order of things and brings in the new order of things (Hebrews 10:9; Leviticus 26:42). It is also noteworthy that His covenants run according to the ‘… times or seasons the Father has set by His own authority' (Acts 1:7). Therefore, the point we make here is that the order of things must run its course until the times and seasons ordained by it by our Heavenly Father.

How God Will Punish The Earths Inhabitants?

“For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the bloodshed on it, and will no more cover its slain” (Isaiah 26:21). This will be a direct intervention by the Almighty God to punish the inhabitants of the world, and it will coincide with the invasion of Israel by Gog. I speak from revelation, this will happen soon after world war III, which we already mentioned on this blog (Ezekiel 38:8; Ezekiel 38:8-23; Zechariah 14:1-7) and where a revived ten (10) ‘United Nations’ will emerge and from which Anti-Christ would come as the ‘little horn’ who will invade many Countries including Israel (Daniel 7:7-8; 12:40-45; Revelations 13:1-4).  The Lord willing, we will expand on this part of the end-time prophecy.

World-War III

Thus, I believe after world war III, a new order and monetary system will be introduced. It hurts me to mention this, as we enjoy a great relationship with many brethren in the US and the Lord used that Nation to be a blessing to many nations around the world, however, the Almighty God has reserved judgment for the US by leading the world into perversion. The Lord has revealed to us that the US currency will fail and be replaced as the leading currency in the not too distant future. The brethren there must be alert and pray. I also heard a voice saying, that they will lose their influence and many will lament the fall of the USA.

In conclusion, then there will be a time of punishment, unprecedented as times never before has witnessed, God’s ultimate wrath upon humanity (Daniel 12:1; Matthew 24:21-22). We, therefore, encourage Christians all around the world to pray and remain vigilant. Also, we believe the current war in Ukraine will ultimately draw the whole world into a conflict which could be a recipe for world war III. This does NOT look good, it’s time to serve and seek the Lord with all our hearts and let us remember the Lord's previous warnings! Finally, we say peace to the people of Ukraine!

Blessed Grace

Is The Devil Listening To Our Prayers?

God Answers, But Satan Opposes

Then he said, “Daniel, don't be afraid. God has heard your prayers ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself to gain understanding. I have come in answer to your prayer. The angel prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for 21 days. Then Michael, one of the chief angels, came to help me, because I had been left there alone in Persia" (Daniel 10:12-13).

Brethren, the Lord has revealed to us that when we pray without faith, or with unconfessed sin, our prayers are wasted and do not reach Heaven (Matthew 5:23-24). This brings to remembrance a message the Lord gave us when we disobeyed Him, and He ordered us to redo those prayers, remember that those prayers were for the deliverance, salvation, and blessings for others. It also brings to remembrance that the Lord revealed that if we show love and kindness to others, it greatly pleases our Heavenly Father.

Now, given the above scripture, the devil and his demons are listening to our prayers. Why did they (demons) try to intercept Daniel's prayers if they were not listening? As a result, Daniel had to wait for 21 days for an answer to his prayers. During the time that the Lord was speaking to us as a family, we would ask the Lord almost anything, but He would not always give us an answer because certain requests required fasting and prayer over a period of many days (Acts 13:2).

Just Keep On Praying

As a pastor, I often heard people and Christians alike saying that 'God does not answer my prayers'. While no one has been given the authority to judge the prayers of others, we need to consider a few things when we pray. Are we praying by Faith? Do we believe that the things we are asking are realistic (Mark 11:24), not offered to promote greed or desiring the things of others, or do we really have a need, and how urgently do we need it? I would often ask the Lord when I would receive something He promised, but His answers would always be that "Your father must just have faith and continue to pray". We encourage you likewise, dear brethren, don't give up praying and believing, you will receive your breakthrough.

Blessed Grace
